Seeking an eCommerce technical analyst, responsible for EDI and B2B support for North America customers. The eCommerce technical analyst will provide support coverage and monitor the overall Customer EDI and B2B environment. When necessary will work with customers develop IT request, manager through testing and deployment. In the process the candidate will interface with various internal groups: order management, sales, project management, billing operations and IT to document precise requirements that IT will use to develop and appropriate solution. Major activities and/or essential functions: Work with customer technical representative to troubleshoot issues impacting the ALU Customer EDI/B2B environment. Prepare and conduct review of IT request for Enhancement Request. Provide regular status on assignments and escalate barriers to ER/project completion to management as required. Prepare UAT scenarios and conduct review of test plan with manager and/or mentor. Execute internal and external UAT scripts attending and/or conducting UAT calls regarding testing status as necessary. Prepare communication plan and material for distribution at project go-live to impacted business groups. Address "Go-Live business issues and provide post production support Document customer specific training and/or change management impacts. Engage process team for any changes impacting all customers as appropriate. Participate in root cause analysis & corrective action development.
Minimum Requirements Experience 3+ years in mapping data to and deploying business transaction messaging using X12 ASC EDI and XML based standards required. 3-6+ years experience with SAP and ALU ERP systems and associated logistical data preferred. Prior Experience in collaboration with customers or vendors to develop solutions-Excellent communication skills required Strong interpersonal and team player-Detailed oriented, strong analytical and decision-making skills-Manage priorities and completing demands, escalating at appropriate times Ability to work under pressure to meet critical deadlines Understanding of project management principals preferred Bachelor Degree or specialized training or equivalent work experience required. Position can work remote or out of ALU office.
